On August 6, 2024, VOG founder, Julie Kohner, spoke to the Nashville Metro City Council, as a concerned member of her community, against the antisemitic and hateful rhetoric recently on display in the city’s public spaces. The Nashville City Council recently condemned the verbal assault on children by a Nazi group demonstrating and displaying hate filled symbols and banners on public property. Julie made a request of the Nashville City Council to consider stronger measures that prevent these attacks on the community which intimidate the public and threaten violent behavior.
