VOG engagements in Malibu and Burbank

Malibu to Burbank may have been the daily drive for Johnny Carson, but it was a special day of driving in LA for VOG. Speaking on Oct 22, first to the religious studies students at Pepperdine University’s Glazer Institute for Jewish Studies, then later that day to an appreciative group of adults and students at the Burbank Public Library. Thanks to Dr. Drew Billings at Pepperdine, and Mr. Hubert Kozak at the Burbank Public Library for hosting Voices of the Generations.

VOG at St. Anthony High School, Long Beach

On Tuesday, May 26, VOG’s Julie Kohner was invited by St. Anthony High School, Asst. Principal/Dean of Boys/Social Science Dept.Clay Kennedy to speak to the sophomore class about her family’s story of surviving the Holocaust and sharing the “This Is Your Life” program.

VOG Visits Salem, Oregon Schools

Julie Kohner presented Voices of the Generations on May 18 – 19 to three schools in the Salem-Keizer district. The presentations were made possible by a generous contribution from a member of the Salem community.

William Allen students share daughter’s story of a Holocaust survivor
